· Responsible for activities and operations in the accounts payable function for the organization.
· Analyzes invoices and expense reports for accuracy and eligibility for payment.
· Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate financial records and control reports.
· Prepares accounts payable register and related reports in a timely manner.
· Assists the Accounts Payable Manager with coaching and training others on the AP Central Team
· Lead company’s efforts to manage/utilize Scanman and training of vendors/suppliers.
· Work closely with AP Manager to review weekly AP check and payment runs
· Tackles challenging problems and assignments as AP Manager go to resource
· Monitor reconciliation and review of vendor statements as directed by Accounts Payable Manager.
· Function as backup for Accounts Payable Specialists.
· Work with BUs management and project controls teams to ensure accruals are accurate and timely.
· Direct involvement with Received Not Vouchered accruals to ensure timely review and balances are monitored and cleared.
· Perform additional duties as required.
· Undergraduate or Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business highly desirable with 3-5 years of leadership experience in Accounting
· 7+ years of accounting experience
· Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software
· Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with accountants, clients, and upper management
· Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.

Wage Range:
$52,400-$78,600/Annually, DOE
