Position Summary
The Associate Project Manager II assists in providing project-related management for construction projects across various markets within an assigned Region or Division and is responsible for utilizing H&M's Project Management Methodology to manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle and accountable for all aspects of each project's success.
The Associate Project Manager II contributes to the direct support of other functional project teams in the planning and execution of the job including resolving issues, managing resources, coordinating projects, interfacing with client representatives, and overseeing project accounting.
Support the PM/Sr. PM in implementing project plans in alignment with H&M’s Project Management practices.
Lead the integration and application of project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and update project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain and update the Risk Management Tool (RMT) and associated documentation to reflect current project status and risk posture.
Work closely with Project Controls to monitor and ensure integrity of the risk budget and related data.
Contribute to the development and enforcement of team roles, responsibilities, and communication protocols that align with high-performance team standards.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to reports, action item tracking, and issue resolution as assigned.
Support ongoing coordination among cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and finance.
