Position Summary
The Safety Specialist III is a senior-level safety professional responsible for supporting, developing, and implementing comprehensive safety and health programs across multiple projects, facilities, or regions. This role provides subject matter expertise in occupational health and safety regulations, company safety policies, and industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with federal, state, and local safety standards.
Working with minimal supervision, the Safety Specialist III leads safety audits, conducts risk assessments, investigates incidents, and partners with operational teams to drive continuous improvement in safety culture and performance. This position serves as a mentor and technical resource to junior safety staff and project leadership, and plays a critical role in fostering proactive safety behavior and promoting accountability at all levels of the organization.
Wage Range:
$79,700 - $119,500/Annually, DOE
